About the Role
We’re looking for a curious and detail-oriented Jr. Content Researcher to support our social media marketing efforts. You’ll research trending topics, competitor content, and audience insights to fuel content ideas, ensuring our social media output stays relevant, engaging, and on-brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Research trending topics, hashtags, and content formats across social media platforms
- Analyze competitor content and industry trends to identify content opportunities
- Curate reference content and ideas for reels, posts, and campaigns
- Compile research into simple briefs for writers, designers, and video editors
- Stay updated with social media algorithm changes and platform trends
Required Skills
- Strong internet research and information-gathering skills
- Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Good written communication skills for compiling research briefs
- Basic knowledge of content trends and viral formats
- Ability to organize research clearly (Docs, Sheets, Notion, etc.)
Good to Have
- Experience researching for social media, marketing, or content teams
- Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword research
- Familiarity with tools like Google Trends, BuzzSumo, or similar
- Interest in current affairs, pop culture, or niche industry trends
Soft Skills
- Strong curiosity and attention to detail

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Mass Communication, Marketing, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in content research, social media, or a related role
