Job Overview
We’re looking for a motivated Jr. E-commerce SEO Executive to help improve organic visibility and search rankings for our e-commerce website(s). You’ll work on on-page and off-page SEO, keyword research, and product listing optimization to drive traffic and improve conversions.
Education Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Business, or a related field
- SEO certification is an added advantage
Job Location
- Ahmedabad (Full-time/ Onsite)
Experience
- 6 Months – 1 year of experience in SEO or E-commerce SEO.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct keyword research and optimize product titles, descriptions, and meta tags for SEO
- Support on-page SEO tasks (internal linking, alt tags, content optimization)
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and performance using SEO tools
- Track and report on key SEO metrics
- Stay updated with SEO trends and search engine algorithm updates
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals (on-page, off-page, technical).
- Familiarity with tools like Google.
- Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Basic knowledge of keyword research tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, etc.).
- Understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of HTML for on-page SEO edits.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SEO for an e-commerce store (personal, freelance, or academic project)
- Basic understanding of Google Ads/PPC concepts
- Knowledge of schema markup and structured data
- Familiarity with competitor analysis and market research
- Basic content writing skills for product descriptions/blogs
