Codersh Web Services is looking for a motivated Junior WordPress Developer to join our team. You’ll work on building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites for clients/internal projects, under the guidance of senior developers.
Education Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Prior internship or freelance WordPress project experience.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce; basic knowledge of REST APIs.
• Experience with tools like Chrome DevTools, Postman, or similar.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
• Convert design mockups (Figma/PSD) into responsive WordPress pages.
• Perform basic PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript coding for site customizations.
• Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins and themes.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, layout issues, and site performance problems.
• Perform routine website maintenance, updates, and backups.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with designers, content teams, and senior developers.
• Test websites across browsers and devices for consistency.
• Assist with basic database management (MySQL).
Required Skills
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Understanding of WordPress architecture (themes, plugins, hooks, custom post types).
• Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of MySQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git/version control.
• Understanding of responsive/mobile-first design.
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with WooCommerce
• Knowledge of REST API integration
• Familiarity with Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS
• Basic understanding of hosting/cPanel environments
• Exposure to tools like Figma or Adobe XD
